17-year-old Sarnian is winner of CHOK-YMCA Bridge race
Sports — By JD Booth on June 3, 2012 at 10:51 pmIn the case of Olivier Asselin, a student at Northern Collegiate who was Sunday'swinner of the CHOK-YMCA Bridge race, the humber 17 seems to have some significance.
It was Asselin's second time running the race—the first time he placed 17; this year he's 17 and came in first, with a time of 38:36.
Rockwood, Ont., runner Amy Robitaille was the first female crossing the finishing line with a time of 43:49.
