ADDISON, Pearl (nee Ireland) – On Thursday, May 24th, Pearl passed away peacefully at the age of 79 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of John W. Addison and loving mother to Duane (Marna), Dru (Laurie) and Darin. Cherished grandmother to Shane (Melissa), Matthew and Brett and great-grandmother to Nathan, Reed and Evan. Aunt to Dean and Carey (Carol) Ireland, Debbie Gladdy and Sandra (Glen) Smith. Sister-in-law to Helen Vandenbogaerde. She is predeceased by her parents Harry and Bernice Ireland and brother Ronald Ireland. Pearl devoted her life to her family and friends. Born and raised in Sarnia, Pearl leaves behind many dear friends including John's cousins Patsy Addison and Faye (Peter) Leaver and family, Alan and Joan Jacklin, and the ladies of the Friday night dinner group. Cremation has taken place as Pearl wished and a private family interment will take place at a later date. A life is like a flower It blooms then fades away But it leaves a lasting beauty In our hearts from day to day It leaves plans not completed Things undone. The family would like to thank Dr. Haddad, Elizabeth, Bev A. and the nursing staff at Bluewater Health ICU for their great care and compassion. THE D.J.
