Another break-in involving hydro substation is reported, this time in Enniskillen Twp.
Crime, Lambton County — By JD Booth on February 7, 2012 at 2:45 pmLambton OPP say someone entered the hydro substation on Wanstead Road between Churchill Line and Lasalle Line (in Enniskillen Township), cutting through an exterior fence and damaging the building in the process.
The incident, which was discovered on Feb. 6, is said to have occurred some time in the last three to four days.
A small quantity of electrical parts was stolen, although police say there is no dolar estimate as to the loss or damage at this time.
Police say two large security lights were smashed, a large ventilation port was damaged in an effort to gain entry, and an exterior door was damaged.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Lambotn OPP (888-310-1122) or Crimestoppers.
