Some people never learn.

Sarnia Police said today the 27-year-old Ottawa man that was arrested on Friday for Break and Enter ended up in police custody again yesterday. He had been released on a Recognizance of Bail by a Justice on Jul. 14.

The man was seen in the area of Ann and Stuart Streets yesterday afternoon carrying a pick axe and acting in an erratic manner. He allegedly entered a home on Ann Street then a vehicle outside of the same residence.

He emptied contents of that car onto the road.

Police arrived around 2 p.m. to arrest him but he became resistive and a short struggle apparently ensued. The suspect was eventually taken to hospital before being booked in at police headquarters.

He faces charges of Mischief Over $5000 and Resist Arrest and will go to court for a bail hearing this morning.
