Obituaries — By JD Booth on September 11, 2012 at 5:55 pmJessie "Jeff" Agnes Barnes long time resident of Bright's Grove passed away on Monday September 10th, 2012. Jessie was born June 23rd, 1926 daughter of the late Jessie and William Gibbs. Beloved wife of Jack and loving mother of Jennifer (Larry) Cochrane, Wendy (Mike) Meloche, Debbie Denomy (Dale Andrews) and Connie Barnes (Dave Loomis). Proud Grandma to Rich Shwaykowski, Jeff Turnbull, Tim and Janine Turnbull, Trisha and Rob Denomy. Great grandma to Taylor and Berlyn Randall and Grayden Turnbull. She will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Survived by sisters-in-law Dorothy Coombs and Freda DeMay of London and Donna Mayo of Dorchester. She was predeceased by son Jackie, sisters Daisy Sparling, Flora (Duke) Charman, Grace Pullen, Mabel Hamilton, brothers Bill and Jack Gibbs and brothers-in-law Douglas and Gerald Barnes. Jessie had worked at the Autolite for 10 years. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors in the Emergency Department and Palliative Care. Family and friends will be received at the SMITH FUNERAL HOME (1576 London Line, Sarnia) on Wednesday September 12th, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Smith Funeral Home on Thursday September 13th, 2012 at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Blackwell Cemetery.
