At Victoria Hospital in London on Monday, July 9, 2012, Maxine V. Blain, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late James Blain (1999). Loving mother of Jim and his wife Charlene, Rick and Kathy, Joanne and her husband Barry Dowdell and Ron. Cherished grandmother of Connie Benini, Rick, Tracy and her husband Andrew Tarr, Cory Dowdell, Derrick and his wife Heather, Jason and his wife Michelle, Todd and Danielle Dowdell, Tim Kernohan and his wife Lisa, Laurie-Beth and Ann-Marie. Great-grandmother of 13. A special thanks to the staff at Victoria Hospital. Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Maxine’s life will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at the SMITH FAMILY CENTRE, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
