Break, enter and theft at Oil Springs auto repair shop

Lambton OPP said an Oil Springs auto repair shop was broken into and looted last weekend.

Police said that sometime between Friday, Jun. 22, and Monday morning, Jun. 24, thieves allegedly entered into the Mid County Ford repair shop located at 4570 Oil Springs Line.

Entry was gained through an exterior window.

Culprits allegedly took a MIG Welder and assorted hand tools from the shop. The estimated loss is set at over $2,000.

The investigation, police said, is continuing.
