Building enhancements ongoing at CEE Petrolia
Lambton County, Petrolia, Where we live — By JD Booth on May 6, 2011 at 11:00 pmWork has begun on improvements to Charlotte Eleanor Englehart (CEE) Hospital of Bluewater Health in Petrolia.
The enhancements, at a cost of $130,000, includes painting of corridors and public spaces, upgrading fire pumps, Installation of a new boiler/chiller for energy-efficient heating and cooling, development of the commemorative Englehart Garden in recognition of the hospital’s 100th anniversary through a grant from the Canadian Ministry of Heritage and the Imperial Oil Foundation Installation of a donor wall by the Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital Foundation to publicly recognize fundraising gifts in excess of $655,000 for the Pat Mailloux Eye Centre
“We believe that the enhancements to the physical space at CEEH of Bluewater Health will improve the patient experience and complement the high quality of care provided by our rural health staff, physicians and volunteers,” said Sue Denomy, President and CEO. “CEEH of Bluewater Health continues to play an instrumental role in achieving Bluewater Health’s strategic priorities and we are delighted that these changes are taking place in this, its centennial year.”
