Petrolia wins high school baseball crown
Petrolia jumped out to a big lead and coasted to a 15-5 win over SCITS in the LSSAA championship baseball game on Tuesday afternoon at Greenwood Park. Alex McLean pitched four shutout innings for the win, while offensively, McLean and Travis Helps each drove in three runs for the Lancers.

Bluewater Health gets cash from local LHIN for infrastructure upgrades
The Erie St. Clair LHIN is investing just under $616,000 in Bluewater Health for infrastructure upgrades to its sites in Sarnia and Petrolia. The local portion is part of a $2 million allocation for hospitals in Sarnia-Lambton, Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.
