Charges laid as a result of drug bust near Watford
Lambton County, Warwick, Where we live — By JD Booth on June 15, 2011 at 3:56 pmA drug bust in rural Lambton County has resulted in eight charges against a Warwick Township man.
Lambton OPP say Mark Duffy, 31, is charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and five counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000.
As a result of a search warrant to a residence in the 5000 block of Underpass Road, southwest of Watford, late last night, OPP officers seized 11 suspected marihuana plants, four suspected oxycodone pills and an undisclosed quantity of suspected cocaine. The estimated value of the seized drugs is $3200. Police also located five road name signs that had been stolen from around Lambton and Middlesex counties. The estimated cost to replace these signs is over $500.
