City police investigating two downtown break and enters

City police are investigating an attempted break and enter in the 400 block of North Christina St. sometime on Wednesday.

Police says someone tried to throw of piece of concrete through a rear window. The window was cracked and badly damaged, but the suspect was not able to gain entry.
 
Meantime, cash was taken from a business in the 200 block of Lochiel Street when someone suspect got in through a damaged window in a door. Police say a piece of concrete was found nearby.
The thieves were unsuccessful in trying to pry open a tool box, but they did not evidence behind that is being processed by the Forensic Identification Branch.
