Commissionaires Great Lakes is asking the public to help raise awareness and recognize the valuable contributions made by School Crossing Guards in Sarnia & Point Edward for their dedicated loyal work ensuring school children safely cross the busy streets in the community.

The Commissionaires are inviting the public to cast their vote for the Top Crossing Guard by emailing their submission to sarnia@commissionaires.ca with the following information:

  • The intersection of the school crossing.
  • A brief explanation of why you think this School Crossing Guard should win the title of Top School Crossing Guard.

The public can also submit their vote at the Commissionaire office located at 429 Exmouth Street, Suite 206.

Commissionaires will announce the name of the Top School Crossing Guard on Thursday, June 30, 2011.  The award will be presented at 12:30 pm at the School Crossing Guard end of the year BBQ held at the Community of Christ Church at 1104 Leckie Drive.
