Community Health Services launches DineSafe website
Lambton County, Where we live — By JD Booth on June 20, 2011 at 2:46 pmThe DineSafe Lambton website allows the public to search and view, current and past food safety summary inspections of all Lambton County food establishments and provides the public with quick and easy access to the inspection summary results.
"The inspection summary information on the website works in conjunction with the coloured inspection summary signs customers view as they enter local food establishments," says Chad Ikert, Manager at Community Health Services. "Advanced access to inspection summary information on the website allows customers to preview the food safety inspection summary results before they visit."
A mobile version of the website is also accessible for residents with mobile devices that utilize Smartphone technology. "This option provides one more point of access to the food safety summary inspection results," adds Ikert.
DineSafe Lambton is a food safety inspection disclosure program introduced in October 2010 by the County of Lambton Community Health Services Department.
