Daytime break and enter suspect remains in custody, slated to appear in court again this week

Sarnia police said this week that the male suspect, 36, behind a robbery attempt on Apr. 19 on Erindale Court remains in custody and will appear again Apr. 25 to face charges of Break and Enter, Theft Over $5,000 and Breach of Probation.
He is the man Sarnia police chased thru the areas of Erindale, Cassandra and Copperfield Court before being arrested and taken into custody last Thursday afternoon just before 1 p.m.
The suspect was found inside a home on Erindale and was scared off by the homeowner. He fled and broke into another home on Cassandra where he made off with jewelry.
He was arrested in the yard of a home on Copperfield Court by a COPPS Branch officer.
