Well in advance of the next First Friday Cultural Walkabout scheduled for November 4, organizers have released information on what will be available to those who attend.

78th Annual Colours Show
David Plain Book Launch “1300 Moons”
 
The LHCA is pleased to present its 8th annual Floyd Gibson Colours Show, featuring the Mayor’s Award of $500. The winning piece of artwork will be added to our permanent collection. This juried show features artists and artisans from throughout Lambton County.
1300 Moons is a new historical/fiction novel authored by David D. Plain. It is based on the life of Ojibwa chief Kioscance or Young Gull who lived during the French regime in North America. After the Iroquois War Young Gull led his band south to settle at Aamjiwnaang at the foot of Lake Huron.
