Drug and weapon charges laid after raid on Walpole Island

Seven people, including four men and three women, are facing various drug and weapons charges after a raid on Altiman Road residence on Walpole Island at about 4:15 this morning.

 

Lambton OPP say two rifles, a shotgun, an assortment of ammunition and drugs with an estimated street value of nearly $50,000 were seized.

Police say the drug included 9,400 tablets of suspected Ecstasy, a small quantity of suspected marihuana and suspected oxycodone.  

Names of the accused have not yet been released.
