EADIE, Edna Mildred – Peacefully on Saturday June 9, 2012 at Sarnia, ON. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Eadie. Loving mother of Lynda Donovan (Brian) of Sarnia. Dear grandmother of Lauren Emanuel (Brian) of Halifax, and James Donovan (Christina) of Toronto. Proud great grandmother of Jenna, Cameron, and Isabella Emmanuel of Halifax. She is survived by her sister Edythe Richardson (the late George), her brother H.D.H. McKay (Shirley) and many nieces and nephews, all of Ottawa. Predeceased by her dear son Gordon P. Eadie. A special thank you to Pat Howard for her wonderful friendship during Mom's years in Sarnia. A heartfelt thank you to the angels (staff) on 1 A at Vision Nursing Home for all of their special care and love. Visitation to be at the Garden Chapel of the TUBMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore & Baseline) on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00am. Internment at Huntley Presbyterian Cemetery. Donations to Vision Nursing Home, a non-profit care facility, 229 Wellington St., Sarnia, ON N7T 1G9, would be appreciated by the family.
