Failure of one of two chiller units at Bluewater Health may make for warm weekend

A failure of one of two chiller units at Bluewater Health's Sarnia facility may result in warmer than usual conditions while hospital officials wait for a temporary replacement unit scheduled to arrive on Tuesday.

According to a media release, the hospital has eased up on demand of the remaining operating unit while focusing cooling to what it calls "priority patient areas." The end result, it says, may be warmer than usual conditions, especially with maximum temperatures of 31 Celsius, 28 Celsius and 26 Celsius on Saturday, Sunday and Monday respectively.
