Flags fly high with three victories over the weekend

Cody Schmidt broke a 2-2 tie just over four minutes remaining, lifting the Mooretown Flags to a 4-2 win over Kingsville on Sunday in Great Lakes Jr "C" Hockey League action.

The road win by the Flags completed a perfect weekend for the downriver crew as they had edged Alvinston, 5-4 on Saturday and beaten Dresden, 5-2 on Friday.

Mooretown is now 10-5 on the season.
