Fraud suspect identified, turned himself into police after seeing his image in local media

Sarnia police asked for the public’s assistance Wednesday in identifying a man wanted in a fraud and theft investigation.

After seeing his picture in the local media, a 43-year-old Sarnia man turned volunteering himself into Sarnia Police.

Police said the man surrendered himself in the early evening hours of Apr. 11.

He is facing several fraud related charges after a wallet was stolen and the credit cards used at several local businesses.
