Golf tournament supporting Lambton College bursaries this Thursday

The 11th Annual Driving Education Golf Classic will take place on Thursday, July 12 at Sawmill Creek Golf Resort and Spa. The all-inclusive price of $125 includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, golf clinic, prime rib dinner, contests, mulligan, a tax receipt and more. 

All participating golfers will have an enjoyable day on Sawmill Creek’s exceptionally conditioned par 71 ‘Links style,’ 6,445 yard championship layout course. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the early bird golf clinic at 11:00 a.m. 

The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. and include a putting challenge, closest to the pin contest and two Hole-in-One opportunities where players could win either a trip courtesy of Sell off Vacations or a cash prize of $10,000 from RBC Dominion Securities.

The day will be capped with dinner and an auction.

Participation will help support the Alumni Association with their initiatives including student scholarships and bursaries. Supporting this event directly contributes to the success of today’s students and tomorrow’s graduates!
