On Tuesday, June 12, 2012, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, Lynn Ann Henderson (Boyle) passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the far too early age of 56.
Survived by husband Mark Dean, daughter Jessica Henderson, mother Joyce Stinson (Ben) of Florida, father Bill (Gloria) Boyle, brothers Steve (Barb), Matt, Greg (Richard), sisters Maureen McIntosh (Mich), Lisa (Mike) Dunn, Julie (Steve) Martindale all of Sarnia, sister Wendy (Todd) of Niagara Falls and brother Mark Hart of Toronto. The love of Lynn’s life were her two grandsons Callen and Bryton Jensen. Fondly remembered by too many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews to mention. Everybody’s favourite aunt, Lynn is also missed by too many friends to count, and especially her best friend forever Lee Brown. Predeceased by brother-in-law Mike McIntosh (1992).
The family would like to thank the wonderful nursing staff at Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit, who helped tremendously during her final days. We would also like to thank all the doctors who helped with Lynn’s 14-year battle with mesothelioma, but again there are too many to mention, but doctors Richard Malthaner of London and Billy O’Mahony, Glenn Maddison, and Monique Dostaler of Sarnia, stand out.
Cremation has taken place. At Lynn’s request there will be no funeral or visitation. There will be a celebration of Lynn’s life at the Guildwood Inn, Pt. Edward, on Friday, June 15, 2012, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
Donations in Lynn’s memory can be made to Bluewater Health Cancer Clinic, St. Joseph’s Hospice, or London Regional Cancer Centre. A tree will be planted in the St. Clair Region Conservation Memorial Forest in Lynn’s name at a later date.
Lynn blessed us with courage, strength, wisdom and wit. The hardest working, strongest person we’ll ever know.
