Discovery of human bones believed to be more than a century old resulted in at least a temporary halt to a construction project on Thursday morning (August 16), say Sarnia Police.
Bones from the site, near Blackwell Road and Lakeshore, were identified as human by a pathologist at the University of Western Ontario.
Police say the Registrar of Cemeteries, Consumer Protection Branch is overseeing the matter further, which is not considered a criminal matter due to the age of the bones.
