Imperial Oil reports minor fire in packaging plant, no injuries

Imperial Oil says its emergency crews responded to what it is describing as a minor in the company's Packaging plant on Friday.

A Chemical Valley alert was issued and the fire, which occurred around 3:45 p.m., was extinguished within minutes.

The company said regulatory authorities were notified and the exact cause of the fire is being investigated by Imperial Oil.
