Kettle Point stabbing leaves man in ‘serious but stable’ condition; two males charged
Lambton County — By JD Booth on September 1, 2011 at 6:17 pmKettle Point Anishinabek Police Service say one man is in hospital with stab wounds and two men, both members of the Kettle Point First Nation, are in custody, accused of various charges related to an incident which occurred early Wednesday morning.
According to a media release, when police responded to reports of a stabbing, they found a 41-year-old man with a stab wound. He was transported to Bluewater Health where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
Two men, a 31-year-old and a 32-year-old, face charges of attempted murder, assault, assault with a weapon, and break, enter with intent to commit an indictable offence. Both accused parties are presently held in Sarnia Jail for bail hearings.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the Kettle Point Detachment at 519-786-5445.
