Lakeside Process Controls Ltd. is making a $257,000 in-kind donation to the Inspiring the Future fundraising campaign in partnership with The Lambton College Foundation and Lambton College.
“Lakeside recognizes the important contribution that Lambton College makes to the technical learning community in Sarnia” said David Lyon, Sarnia Branch Manager.
“Many local employers, including Lakeside, reap the benefits of top notch graduates from Lambton College. We understand the need that is generated to provide the best process automation equipment in the labs in order to provide up to date and cutting edge training for students. In order to help Lambton College deliver on those requirements, Lakeside is pleased to offer a five year commitment to donate Emerson Process Management automation equipment for use at the College.”
Lyon is also a Lambton College graduate of the Electronics Engineering Technology program and current President of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
“Lakeside Process Controls Ltd. has been an outstanding partner of Lambton College for over a decade” said Margaret Dragan, Vice-President Finance and Administration, Lambton College. “This very generous gift is further indication of the tremendous support Lakeside gives our students.”
The enhanced partnership between The Lambton College Foundation, Lambton College and Lakeside Process Controls Ltd. acknowledges support and collaboration, creating a stronger workforce and community in Sarnia-Lambton.
