Lambton College says thank you to 22 community partners

Nearly two dozen companies were honoured Wednesday for their commitment to the Inspiring the Future Fundraising Campaign in partnership with the Lambton College Foundation and Lambton College.

Collectively, members of the group have contributed $480,681 to the campaign, which began some three and one half years ago.

"Lambton College has been very grateful for the outpouring of support from community partners and their commitment to providing an enhanced educational experience for its students," said a media release.

“As is demonstrated by the number of donors here today, our partnerships are many and integral to the College’s success,” said Judith Morris, President and CEO, Lambton College.  “We are very proud to be affiliated with so many local, national and international partners who look to the college for future employees and believe in the value of a good education and how it can positively affect the economy.  Funds donated today are contributed to four pillars, initiatives including Health, Wellness and Public Safety, Sustainable Technologies, Skilled Trades Training Centre and Student Success.”
