Lambton OPP busy with impaired driving incidents over weekend
Corunna, Crime, Lambton County, Lambton Shores, Plympton-Wyoming — By JD Booth on March 12, 2012 at 11:57 amLambton OPP spent the last few days making sure our area roads are safe from drivers who insist on consuming alcoholic beverages.
On Saturday (March 10) around 2 a.m. Lambton OPP stopped a vehicle on Lyndoch Street in Corunna, arresting a 28-year-old Sarnia man who will appear in a Sarnia court April 2 to answer to a charge of Being Over the Legtal Limit.
An hour later, Lambton OPP stopped a vehicle on Broadway Street in Wyoming. A 55-year-old from Rodney, who was arrested but refused to provide a breath sample, now faces charges of Impaired Driving, Refusing to Provide a Breath Sample and Driving a Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor. He will appear in Sarnia court on April 2.
On Sunday (March 11) at around 11 p.m., Lambton OPP stopped a vehicle on Lakeshore Road in the area of Proof Line. A 22-year-old from Lambton Shores was charged with Being Over the Legal Limit. He too will appear in a Sarnia court on April 2.
