Lambton Shores Predators lose to LaSalle Vipers 4-3
Sports — By JD Booth on February 16, 2012 at 10:28 amThe Lambton Shores Predators knowing the win was important played hard but lost 4-3 to the LaSalle Vipers.
Predators Tanner Ferguson netted the first goal at 9:06 of the first period assisted by Jake Carter and Adam Arseneault ending the period 1-0 Predators.
Coming out strong in the second Corey Pawley scored for the Preds at the 18:24 mark assisted by Justin Tugwell and Brett Thompson.
LaSalle replied with one at 19:40 to end the second at 2-1.
In the third La Salle earned three goals and Pred's Corey Pawley netted his second of the game, assisted by Adam Arseneault and Brett Thompson to end a hard fought battle losing to LaSalle 4-3.
"It was a well played, great game until eight minutes left and the refs decided the game with a couple of questionable calls. Tugwell played strong in net" said Head Coach Mark Davis.
The Predators next home game is Saturday vs the Leamington Flyers. Puck drops at 7:30.
