Legionnaires lose at St. Thomas in Junior “B” hockey

St. Thomas scored twice in 17 seconds early in the second period to break open a close game and propel the Stars to a 7-4 win over Sarnia on Sunday night in Greater Ontario Junior "B" Hockey League action.
 
Former Sarnia Sting Blake Thomas scored twice for the Stars, as did Drew Collinson and Kevin Zacharuk. Nathan Mater scored twice in a losing cause for the Legionnaires.
 
Sarnia ends the first half of the season in sixth place with 35 points.
 
On Saturday, Sean Myers scored twice in the second period to lead Chatham over Lambton Shores, 4-2. The Predators are now 4-25.
 
The Legionnaires open the second half of the season with a game vs. Lambton Shores on December 30 at the RBC Centre in Sarnia.
