A local Facebook group is taking a long stroll down memory lane with more than 2,800 members so far.

Titled "Do You Remember . . . Places that No Longer Exist in Sarnia", the group can be found at: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_9596211314.

Among the reminiscences are photos such as the one featured–of the Imperial Oil docks with a ship being loaded.

remember the Cosy Cove located where Ontario St & Wellington St meet at Mitton St. They has the old juke boxes. Behind the restaurant was ED’S Taxi who rented table & chairs for weddings etc., sold gas, & ice by the 25 or 50 LB block. At Mitton & Wellington South West corner was Poles Drug store & down Mitton from there was Watson Cycle & Sport store.
At one time the farmers market was down town somewhere around Christina St & maybe Cromwell then it moved to Ontario & Proctor Sts. At one time on Sat mornings young children could go the the library & have stories read to them I think the reader was Miss Knowles. Good memories
