Love, Glenn, (April 24, 2012)

Peacefully with his family by his side at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, Glenn Love passed away at the age of 81.
Beloved husband of Betty (nee McDougall). Loving father of Daniel (Jennifer) and John (Penelope). Cherished grandfather of Christina Pavli (David), Charmaine Love, Brett Syer, and Ashleigh Syer and great-grandfather of Tyler, Amber, Paige, and Jessica Pavli. Dear brother of Gerald (Brenda) and brother-in-law of Christina Love, Dorothy Hess (the late Gord), Mary (Ron) Rossi, and Marj Drake (the late John). Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Colin and Fern Love, his brother Morley Love, and brother-in-law Hugh McDougall and sister-in-law Jean (Bill) Freele. Glenn retired from Dow Chemical and was a member of the Sarnia Seniors and Bluewater Anglers. A special thank you to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of Bluewater Health and to the staff of St. Joseph’s Hospice.
Cremation has taken place.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 27, 2012, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Smith Funeral Home.
