LSSAA High School sports roundup for Tuesday, May 10
Petrolia, Uncategorized, Where we live — By JD Booth on May 11, 2011 at 8:49 amIt’ll be Northern and St. Clair for the high school senior boys rugby title next Monday evening. Game time will be 6 pm at St. Clair.
Yesterday, in semi-final action, the Vikings drubbed Petrolia, 26-0, while the Colts downed St. Chris, 12-5.
In girls semi-final play, St. Clair beat St. Pat's, 15-0
In other sports, Mitch Bigras struck out nine over four innings to lead Northern to an 11-6 win over St. Chris. Jace Felton led the Vikings at the plate with four hits.
And in soccer action, St. Chris remains unbeaten in senior boys action, playing to a 1-1 draw with North Lambton, while Petrolia blanked SCITS, 2-nil.
In senior girls play, St. Christopher improved to 4-1 with a 2-nil victory over North Lambton.
