Manley's Basics has a long tradition of serving the people of this area.
Our roots go back to 1900, when Blanche and Tom Manley opened a small bookstore and newstand on Lochiel Street in Downtown Sarnia. Manley's sold many interesting items throughout the years including Fleischmann's Yeast.
When the company was purchased from the Manley's the traditions of service continued with Fred and Ted Leaver, who eventually passed the reins to Peter and then two of Peter's daughters, Lisa and Carolyn, who now run the business.
We invite to see all that's changed at Manley's–and all that's stayed the same. As part of Basics Canada, Manley's has millions of dollars in buying power. Yet we're very much connected with the community.
