Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Bluewater Health on Monday, August 6, 2012, Alan Eric Marchbank passed away at the age of 67.
Beloved husband and best friend of Murleen. Loving father of Eric (Courtney) and Alex (Brittany). Cherished grandfather of Hailey. Dear brother of Karen (Jim) Fader and Carol (Mike) Nadon and brother-in-law of Kevin (Mavis) Hopkins and Jackie (Sylvia) Hopkins. Predeceased by his brother Larry.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 9, 2012, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2012, at Smith Funeral Home.

Sorry to hear about Alan’s passing. Murleen, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. I can’t help but remember us sitting outside chatting with Mrs. Charlton back in the day. God bless.
