McDonald, Katherine (Kay) (nee McCorkindale), (March 22, 2012)

Passed away at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health on Thursday, March 22, 2012. KATHERINE (KAY) McDONALD (nee McCorkindale), 90 years, was of Wyoming. Katherine was a loving wife of the late Jim McDonald. She will be missed by her sons Junior and Shirley McDonald of Petrolia and Larry and Pat McDonald of Wyoming. She was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Kay is survived by her sisters Ila Sawyer and Pat McLachlan and a brother Norris McCorkindale. She will be sadly missed by her dog Buddy. Kay was predeceased by a baby daughter Jean, brothers Allan, Archie, John, Lorne, Milton, and Christie, and her sisters Isabelle Barnes, Laura Barnes, June Shephard, and Marlene Blackstock. Kay was an avid fan of the Blue Jays, playing bingo and cards, and the Wyoming Legion Ball Teams. Visitors will be received on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Wyoming Chapel, Broadway St., Wyoming, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery.
