New local sports magazine launched in Sarnia area

One of the area's well-known sports journalists is taking his enthusiasm to the next level as the operator of a local print and online publication.

Barry Wright, who cut his journalistic skills as a broadcaster (he once did play-by-law for an OHL team in Cornwall that ultimately became the Sarnia Sting), Wright still does colour commentary for TVCOGECO broadcasts of the Sting games.

He's now publisher and editor of SarniaSportsXpress.ca.

With sports news going up online on a continuous basis, the printed version of Wright's publication is published six times a year.
