New waste newsletter on its way to Sarnia homes

The city of Sarnia is mailing every household in the municipality a waste newsletter it hopes will clarify new policies on collection.

The document being mailed attempts to explain the various policies the city has developed as a means to reduce municipal solid waste going to landfill while increasing revenue from recyclable materials.

LambtonShield.com has been including the latest Sarnia Waste Calendar on its site for some time. You can click here for a handy calendar that includes dates up to the end of the year. There is no word as to whether the city plans to issue an updated calendar.
