On Sunday, Canadian gymnast and Olympian, Dominique Pegg, arrived at Sarnia's annual Greekfest to enjoy delicious food and exciting entertainment. This was her first time attending and her arrival, of course, did not go unnoticed.

She was greeted warmly with many "congratulations!" and "good job!" and she was soon set up at a table in the Kid-lympics centre of Greekfest to sign autographs and take pictures.

Pegg cheerfully talked with everyone who came up to her. She enthusiastically discussed gymnastics with kids who hope to follow in her footsteps. On every autograph she signed "Dream Big!" along with her name and the Olympic rings.

When asked what her favourite moment of the Olympics was, she replied, "The most exciting moment for me was after everyone was done their routines in the finals and I was with my team waiting for our score. When they announced we got fifth, everyone was cheering and jumping up and down and it had truly felt like we won gold."

Pegg is a truly amazing role model. At only 18 she has accomplished so much in her life and everyone who met her wished her luck in the future.
