OPP arrest two area men, both charged with sexual assault

Lambton OPP say they have arrested two men, charging both with three counts of sexual assault.

Both John Brunton, 61, of Sarnia, and 67-year-old Roger Brunton of Point Edward are alleged to have made the assaults in Point Edward over the past year.

Additionally John Brunton is charged with one count of assault.

The Lambton OPP Criminal Investigations Unit was involved in the investigation and arrests.

Both men are scheduled to appear in a Sarnia court on June 18.

The OPP says the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding this incident or any other criminal activity should immediately contact the Lambton OPP Criminal Investigations Unit at (519) 882-1011.
