OPP still finding impaired drivers

Two incidents of impaired driving, both occurring on Dec. 8, 2011, have been reported by Lambton OPP.
In the first, around 2:30 a.m., a Ford pickup was stopped on Petrolia Line in the area of Waterworks Road.
A 23-year-old driver was said to have twice the legal limit of alcohol in his blood. He will appear in a Sarnia court on Jan. 9, 2012.
The second incident, which occurred around 9 p.m., involved the driver attempting to flee police after he stopped the vehicle.
A 52-year-old man from Wallaceburg faces charges of impaired driving, being over the legal limit and flight from police. He will appear in court on Jan. 16, 2012.
