Updated: Search resumes today for missing diver

The search continues today (Tuesday, September 13) for a diver who is missing in the St. Clair River near the Blue Water bridges.

Lambton OPP are involved in a multi-jurisdictional land and water search for a diver who went missing Monday afternoon.

The searchers include not only the OPP but first responders from Point Edward (Fire & Rescue) as well as the St. Clair County IMich.) Sheriff's department and the U.S. Coast Guard.

Police say three recreational scuba divers entered the water at about 2:45 pm on Monday. Two surfaced a short time later, but a third did not and is considered missing.
