Since we’ve been experiencing some great weather, I think it is time to give you a great salad recipe. Something a little different but exciting and your family will be impressed!
All the ingredients were purchased at “Food Basics”.
Prep. Time: 15 min.
Ingredients:
Mixed spring mix salad greens
Seedless naval oranges
Strawberries
Dried Cranberries
Sliced Almonds
Cranberry/Orange salad dressing
Preparation:
Put about 5 handfuls of spring mix in a large low bowl.
Add:
1 naval orange peeled and sectioned, cut sections in half.
Cut strawberries in quarters then cut quarters in half.
1/2 cup of the dried cranberries
1/2 cup of sliced almonds
Toss with about 1/2 cup (depending on how much dressing you like)
“Irresistibles” Cranberry/Orange Vinaigrette
Your family and friends will be amazed with this colourful and very tasty salad.
It can be a nice light lunch or part of a more hefty dinner. Enjoy!
Because of the packaging of the ingredients you can make more than one salad making this a very surprisingly economical dish.
Have a great week and I’ll be back next week with another enjoyable recipe just for you.
