Hi everyone. I sure hope that you are enjoying the recipes from “Pam’s Kitchen.” As always, this week’s recipe is easy, inexpensive and definitely nutritious.
Tasty Fried Brussel Sprout Medley
Prep Time: 30 min.
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
2 cups brussel sprouts
2 cups mixed coloured mini potatoes ( for a less colourful dish just use mini white potatoes)
1 large onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. garlic powder
3 tablespoons olive oil
Preparation:
Boil brussel sprouts in salted water until just tender, cut them in half. Boil potatoes in salted water until cooked, cut them in half. Chop onion. Heat olive oil in large fry pan. Add onion, brussel sprouts and potatoes to oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cook until all ingredients are tender.
This is a great side dish for pork. I make this at least twice a month and even those who aren’t terribly fond of sprouts like it.
Well that’s it for this week. Have a great one see you next time.
