‘Pet of the Week,’ week of Dec. 7, 2011

Buddy is a two-year-old terrier mix who could very well be your new best buddy. His former owner gave him rave reviews. He's housebroken and crate trained, good with other dogs and older children, knows how to shake a paw and beg and loves to play chase, fetch and tug-of-war. This friendly, affectionate and happy dog is energetic but calm and is very sociable. "Pet of the Week" is presented as a public service by LambtonShield.com in cooperation with the local Humane Society, Hours for viewing and adoptions are Monday to Friday, noon to 5:15 p.m., Saturday from noon to 4:15 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 3:30 p.m. The shelter is closed on holidays.
