Petrolia ER to remain a 24/7 operation
Lambton County, Petrolia, Where we live — By JD Booth on June 30, 2011 at 12:08 amThe Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) has passed a motion to allow the Emergency Department at Charlotte Eleanor Englehart (CEE) Hospital in Petrolia to continue to operate on a 24/7 basis.
Last year, there were fears the hours of the ER would need to cut back because of a lack of doctors to coverage off the necessary time.
But, recent success in doctor recruitment in Petrolia has lessened the burden on existing doctors.
