Petrolia man charged after allegedly threatening youths with a knife
Lambton County, Petrolia, Sections, Where we live — By JD Booth on October 31, 2011 at 5:01 pmA 54-year-old man faces a bevy of charges following an incident in Petrolia on Friday evening.
Lambton OPP say they were called to investigate a theft of money from a wallet on Wingfield Street just before 6 pm. During the course of the investigation another call was received from a nearby parking lot indicating that a person was threatening a group of youths with a hunting knife. The suspect was allegedly accusing the youths of stealing the money. Police immediately responded and the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
Robert Mills is charged with Assault With a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Failing to Comply with a Court Order.
