Arts/Entertainment/Culture, Feature — By on February 14, 2012 at 2:11 pm

Since going full-time into music David has reached a considerable number of milestones in his young career and is excited to come home and celebrate with friends, fans and family in Sarnia.

The show will be taking place in Sarnia at Stoke's by the Bay on Friday March 2nd at 7:30PM.  Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door, people are advised to purchase in advance to avoid disappointment as this show will most likely be a sellout.  To reserve tickets call 519-704-5017 or visit www.davidcavanfraser.com.

Now living in the countryside near a little town called Erin and touring across Ontario full-time, David has not performed a concert in the Sarnia area since April of 2010 when he recorded “Live At The Trinity Lounge” featuring a sing-along-version of “The Petrolia Song”.   Since then he has released his third Studio Album, called “3” and he is very excited to come back home and share these new songs.

This past year David has been fortunate enough to add a full-time drummer / percussionist / Background Vocalist, Special K,  from Windsor, Ont., to his band.   “She brings a lot to the music we play and let's be honest,  a good-looking blonde drummer is always a crowd pleaser “

The show they perform has evolved into a mix of musical moments, up-beat sing-alongs and touching heartbreakers always seasoned by David's comedic personality.   “I'd like to think we don't take ourselves TOO seriously” says Fraser, “One of our regular venues refers to our show as 'The Most Fun you can have with your pants on' and I take that as a compliment .”

The concert will also feature some local acoustic acts as openers, Demi Krall from Petrolia and Matthew Moran from Sarnia

Proceeds from the show will go toward helping alleviate poverty in Nicaragua.
