Petrolia Squires remain at .500, splitting two games on the weekend
Lambton Shores, Petrolia, Uncategorized, Where we live — By JD Booth on November 21, 2011 at 11:23 amThe Petrolia Squires saw their record fall to 6-6 on the season with a 4-2 loss in Tavistock on Saturday night in Western Ontario Senior Hockey League action.
The Royals lead the conference with a 9-1 record.
Petrolia had defeated Clinton, 5-4 on home ice on Friday night, with J.J. Martin notching the winning goal with less than eight minutes to play in the third period.
The Squires will host Monkton on Friday night at 8 pm.
Meantime, Thedford continues to struggle, falling 8-3 to Milverton on the weekend.
The Dirty Dogs have now lost nine straight, seeing their record drop to 2-10.
Thedford's next game is Saturday afternoon against Tillsonburg in Thedford. Game time is 2:30.
