Pickett, Theresa “Terry” (O’Halloran) – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Theresa Pickett, born October 28, 1936, who passed away with her family by her side on Monday June 11, 2012 at Palliative Care, Bluewater Health in Sarnia, in her 76th year. She will be forever remembered for her Irish wit and spirit and admired for her courage & strength during her illness. Her many friends brought her great joy, support and love every day. Loving mother of Gail and her husband Moreno Darisi of Brights Grove, Corinne and her husband Paul Schieman of Corunna and Graham Pickett of Sarnia. Cherished grandmother of Tanya and her husband Michael, Jason and his wife Jenny, Jacob, Kyleigh, Aaron, Brendan, Haley, Dalton, and great grandchildren Pascale, James and Luke. Predeceased by her grandson Braden, (December 25, 2011). Survived by family in Ireland, England and Australia. Friends will be received at the McCormack Funeral Home – Stewart Chapel, 254 George Street, (at College Avenue) for visitation on Thursday June 14th at 6:00 pm. to be followed by a Service of Remembrance at 8:00 o’clock pm. A special thanks to Dr. Monique Dostaler and the nursing staff on Palliative Care for their warmth and compassionate care of our mother.
